Due to COVID-19 ExperienceSA must make small changes to our tours. As we are under strict conditions on the number of people attending, health and hygiene requirements this year, ExperienceSA has worked closely with our partnered wineries to devise a way in which we will operate our tours. Following is a run down of what we are required to do to keep our customers and staff safe.
Customers will not be allowed passage on the tour if:
They have returned /arrived from overseas or from a dedicated interstate COVID-19 hotspot in the last 14 days, or been in contact with someone who has COVID-19.
Have been in close contact with a proven case of coronavirus.
Are unwell or displaying any COVID-19 symptoms.
All passengers will be required to check in on arrival via the SA Government's COVID SAfe Check-In. All passengers agree to provide their name, phone, and email address to ExperienceSA and venues visited on the tour, for contact tracing purposes only. This list will be kept in a secured file and only be provided on request to SAPOL and SA Health for contact tracing.
Double Vaccination Rules
Passengers will need to be double vaccinated to join our tours and be granted entry to some venues, which requires double vaccination. ExperienceSA will not be responsible for the rejection of entry to venues if passengers are not double vaccinated, as we stated on our confirmation booking, prior to the tour date. Passengers will be required to show their vaccine certificates to the tour guide, on the day, to make sure that they can join our tour and visit the boutique wineries selected.
All guests and staff are asked to wear masks during the tour and to wash hands regularly and use hand sanitiser before entering the tour vehicle. While we will have masks and hand sanitiser available for your use, it is wise and advisable to bring your own for personal use.
Tour Operation by ExperienceSA
ExperienceSA’s tour guides will assign a single seat to each passenger for the duration of the tour. Please avoid changing your seats during the tour and touching seat headrests. The tour guides will require passengers to exit and enter the vehicle from the same side each time. The doors will be electronically operated by our tour guides. Our passengers do not need to operate the doors manually unless in the case of an emergency. This is required to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 on our tours.
ExperienceSA’s staff will make sure that the cleaning activities for our cars fulfill the cleaning and disinfecting requirements in accordance with guidance from Safe Work Australia and the public health authority. Frequently touched surfaces including doors, seat belts, door handles, and seats are regularly cleaned in each tour vehicle.
